Moonlight Man

If one small country could succeed in setting off a world cataclysm, could the only three people on Earth who have learned of the danger save it?

The plot moves from an assassination attempt in eastern Long Island to the New Jersey coast and inland, to Baltimore, then south to a little town very few have heard of in Maryland’s Anne Arundel county near Chesapeake Bay, a place of deadly secrets. From there the three manage to neutralize a traitor at their home office near Frederick, discovering their final piece of the puzzle, but barely escaping with their lives. To avoid missteps, blown cover or any momentary failure is to invite disaster, and everywhere they turn, somebody stands in their way. The trail leads, literally, from one end of the Earth to the other. Arriving in a in a foreign land without being arrested, can they find and disarm a ticking atom bomb before millions are destroyed by the well thought out scheme of a brilliant, insane jihadist?

Benton finds a way out in his skillfully written thriller using micro-technology that may exist today hidden away in some secret government laboratory. Still, to succeed, they must thread the needle between hostile government intelligence networks and criminal terror and they must not be identified by either. And their time is running out.
